Q: What positions do you have available?
A: We have RN positions available throughout the state of New Jersey in all specialty areas, including (but not limited to): ER, Open Heart, Critical Care, Telemetry, Med-Surg, Hemodialysis, Oncology, Psychiatry, Clinics, Long Term, Transitional Care, House Supervision, Case Management and Wound Care. You may request assignments for a per-diem basis or for a long-term commitment. A long-term assignment may involve 4-week blocks of scheduling, or longer periods like our 13- and 26-week travel assignments. Simply tell us your scheduling needs and we will tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle.
Do you have work for LPN’s and CNA’s?
Yes, we also have work for LPN’s and CNA’s.
What do I need to join your agency?
To become a member of the Phoenix team, you will need to have one year of nursing experience with clinical competence in a specific area (MS, CC, ER, etc.), a current New Jersey Nursing License, current CPR card, I.V. Certification, malpractice insurance, two forms of ID and PPD results with physical.
How do I apply for a position with Phoenix?

Simply complete and submit our online application! There is also a printable version* of the application that can be mailed or faxed to our office. Additionally, feel free to call our toll-free number to speak with a nurse recruiter and apply over the telephone!

Do I have to come into your office for an interview?
You may come into our office for an interview, or for nurses living in central and southern New Jersey, we will make arrangements to meet you closer to your home. We have nurse recruiters who will travel to meet you at your convenience.
Do you offer benefits?

Yes, we offer medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K, vacation pay, credit union and more! Continuing education reimbursements are also available.

Can you keep me busy?

Most definitely. Recently, there has been a severe nursing shortage, and we have been extremely busy – there is plenty of work for you. Phoenix has contracts with over 120 facilities throughout the state of New Jersey.

Can I work full-time?

Yes! You can work full-time, part-time or per diem. You are in control of your commitment level.

Do you have travel or contract work?
Yes, we offer 4-week, 8-week, 13-week, or 26-week contracts.
Do you offer open houses?
Yes, we do! Please contact one of our nurse recruiters to take advantage of these fantastic opportunities.
Do I need an orientation to the hospitals?
Some hospitals require an on-site orientation, and all hospitals have a policy and procedure manual that must be read before your first shift. A registered nurse from the Phoenix staff is available on-call to assist you – 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
How can I get a Phoenix ID badge?
To receive your ID badge, you can come to our office, where we will take an ID picture for you, or you can send us a small passport picture and we will create an ID using that photograph.
